Course Overview

Support and supervision plays an absolutely critical role in the successful implementation of traumainformed practice in any organisation.

The emotional impact on individual staff and teams supporting children and adults with a history of trauma may be significant and toxic. Staff need continuing and skilled support in order to recognise the manifestations of trauma, sustain their resilience and continue to provide a therapeutic environment and relationship for those they support.
