Support

One of the distinguishing features of CALM’s relationship with you is our commitment to ongoing support.

We can provide guidance in relation to areas of practice around the implementation of CALM, the support of situations posing particular challenges, policy development in particular areas, the lawfulness of practice, risk assessment, support planning, and beyond.

We believe that the support we offer is a critical factor in the findings from comparative research that suggest CALM training reduces the use of restrictive interventions and reduces injuries associated with the use of those restrictive interventions we cannot avoid.

Our ongoing support also has proactive elements which involve us alerting you to relevant developments in policy, practice and research in your sector and settings. We do this both during and after training, sometimes providing feedback reports identifying areas for improvement and making suggestions specific to organisations in relation to the new developments.

We are committed to supporting our community of practitioners as best we can – we are always only a phone call away!
