Lorna is Co-Director and Head of Professional Learning and Practice at CALM. She brings years of experience as a teacher, facilitator and wellbeing specialist, blending practical insight with reflective curiosity to help individuals and organisations deepen their capacity for compassionate practice.
With a foundation in education and a strong commitment to wellbeing, Lorna is passionate about creating learning spaces that invite connection, curiosity and growth. She believes that meaningful change happens when people feel seen, understood and supported, whether in a classroom, a workplace or a community setting. Lorna’s work is informed by her ongoing study of self awareness, compassion and regulation, and she enjoys translating complex ideas into accessible, human centred learning experiences.
Alongside her leadership role at CALM, Lorna supports practitioners and leaders through reflective practice, learning design and organisational development. She is particularly interested in how everyday interactions and systems shape wellbeing, and how small changes can make a meaningful difference.
